FAQ

Which input formats are supported?: PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, BMP, ICO, and SVG. Animated GIFs use the first frame only. All processing is done in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
What happens with transparency when converting to JPEG?: JPEG does not support alpha transparency. Transparent areas are filled with a white background. Use PNG or WebP to preserve transparency.
Is metadata preserved?: No. Re-encoding strips all EXIF metadata and color profiles. This is intentional — it reduces file size and prevents leaking location data.
