FAQ

How does compression work?
Each page is rendered and re-encoded as a JPEG image at your chosen quality level. This can dramatically reduce file size but flattens text — the output PDF won't have selectable text or searchable content.
What's a good quality setting?
70–80 works well for most documents. Text-heavy PDFs can go lower (40–50) with acceptable readability. Scanned documents benefit from higher quality (85+).
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. All compression happens locally in your browser.
